F 18 lands on civilian LaX

US Marine Corps (USMC) Captain (CAPT) Kevin Reece, Marine Aviator for Vertical Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 212 (VMFA-212), pilots his F/A18 Hornet over the South China Sea on the return trip from Paya Lebar, Singapore to Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan, in support of Commando Sling.

Jetstream follows eight pilots training with the Canadian Air Force to fly one of the most advanced supersonic tactical fighter jets in the world—the CF-18 Hornet at CFB Cold Lake. They train under the 410 Tactical Fighter Training Squadron.

This time the F18,s are forced to land on a civilian airport due to sunset. They`re not used to this high volume traffic and switching radios.
